HOAX: THE ART OF THE CROP CIRCLE

Printed on tan 24lb paper with black and colored ink; hand-sewn binding with exposed spine and book jacket.
5 x 7.5 in, May 2018

Inspired by researching crop circle phenomena, I curated a collection of scholarly investigations into their existence as works of art, personal accounts of manmade crop circles, photographs of different circles, and diagrams of their creation. The hand-sewn book is made up of inverse french-folded signatures, each offering a glimpse at a different front page from various cerealogist (someone who studies crop circles, especially one who believes that they are not man-made or formed by other terrestrial processes) publications as a nod to the alternative view on crop circles.
