Printed on white 24lb paper with black and colored ink; protest signs fold into action guide post-march. 13 x 19 in, March 2018
In response to the mass shooting at my alma mater, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (class of 2015), in Parkland, FL on February 14, 2018, I co-created Beginning The End with my friend and fellow designer Sam West. The protest sign, which folds into a post-march activism guide, was designed to enable gun control supporters to further involve themselves in gun law legislation.
1,000 copies of the 13 x 19 inch protest signs were printed with donated funds and handed out for free at the March for Our Lives: Boston on March 24, 2018. An additional 200 12 x 18 inch copies were handed out for free at the March for Our Lives: Parkland. The files are also publicly available online for personal printing and viewing, and we have continued the project on Instagram.
